High-Pressure Liquid Chromatography (HPLC)

Analytical chemistry technique that is used to separate, identify and quantify components in a mixture.

Solvents

Acetonitrile and methanol are the most commonly used organic solvents. Both are not good for the environment nor human health. Large quantities of solvent waste are produced using HPLC.

Use Ethanol as your organic solvent. Yabre et al., discuss this as well as other sustainable change such as totally acqueous mobile phase, do micellar liquid chromatography and ionic liquids.
