Description: Cork University Business School is delighted to host a series of webinars, focusing on CUBS postgraduate programmes and their relevance, over the coming weeks.
The next webinar will take place on May 11 and will focus on the key significance of sustainability for the careers of today and tomorrow. We are delighted to be joined by John Curran, Head of Sustainability at Musgraves; Yvonne Cooney, Head of Sustainability at Ornua; William O’Halloran, Wild Work Team Leader at Wild Work.
Our Industry speakers will reflect on the growing importance of sustainability as a core part of businesses today and as a career path, relating this to the MSc Co-operatives, Agri-Food and Sustainable Development.
The event will be hosted Dr Olive McCarthy and Dr Noreen Byrne co-Programme Directors of the MSc Co-operatives, Agri-Food and Sustainable Development; and Trish O’Shaughnessy, CUBS Postgraduate Programme Manager. The topics under discussion will include:
- Key insights from sustainability experts in Agri-food and Rural Development
- A discussion of strategic sustainability priorities
- Increasing numbers of graduate career opportunities focused on sustainability in a wide range of organisations.
We will also provide details of our range of scholarship opportunities on the programme, as six scholarships are available for high-achieving applicants to the MSc Co-operatives, Agri-Food and Sustainable Development.
