Description: The Dorrity group at EMBL Heidelberg is seeking a motivated molecular biologist to act as a Laboratory Officer, helping to set up a new lab and promoting a welcoming, positive atmosphere. Our group uses cutting-edge single-cell genomic techniques to achieve whole-organism phenotyping in zebrafish. We aim to understand how increasing temperature and other environmental stresses alter normal development, with a goal of modulating stress sensitivity of specific cell types.
