Wolfram Proksch, a climate lawyer will talk about how he is using legal tools to prevent ecological destruction.
“CLIMATE CHANGE LITIGATION: HOW CAN WE STOP ECOCIDE?”
Recently, Wolfram Proksch was part of many big court cases, including the case against Facebook by Max Schrems and against the Vienna airport expansion. Currently, he focused to prevent ecocyte and environmental destruction by bringing the responsible person to court. Together with the Austrian NGO AllRise and the climatiologist Dr Friederike Otto, last year he put in a claim at the International Criminal Court (ICC) for “Crimes against nature are crimes against humanity” to end impunity for destruction of the Amazon.
