Description: The Yale Center on Climate Change and Health hosts avirtual18-week,three-course Certificate on Climate Change and Healthfor non-matriculating working professionals. This Certificate program equips working professionalswithknowledge and insights on climate change and health through material delivered inthree courses: Introduction toClimate Change and Health, Climate Adaptationfor Human Health, and Communicating Climate Change & Health.The Certificate material is currently being revamped and updated for a new cohort of students in early 2023. We currently seek applications for an instructor for theClimate Adaptation for Human Healthcourse. With the guidance of the Certificate Program Director and Yale experts on online course design, each instructor willbe expected record sixweeks of lecture content (approximately 90 minutes of material per week), designassessment materials, communicate with students by email and throughthe course learning management system (e.g., post announcements), attend one weekly discussion group, and oversee a Discussion Group Leaderwho leads the discussion groups, grades assessments, and communicates regularly with students. All material should be delivered in English. The instructor will receiveaLecturer appointment at the Yale School of Public Health.
