Description: In this research and teaching role, you will use your extensive knowledge and skills to lead original research, produce high quality outputs and seek and secure external research funding. Applications are particularly welcome from individuals with research experience in areas which strongly align to the research activities within the Faculty of Engineering (Groups - The University of Nottingham).
Alongside your research activities, you will be passionate about providing world-class teaching and learning for our students and have the know-how to engage and support them using creative and innovative approaches. This includes the practical, hands-on experience to be able to deliver and supervise teaching and learning activities in a CEE laboratory environment.
Above all, this role is about collaboration. We are looking for someone who is self-starting but who also values and prioritises building and developing good working relationships at the heart of everything they do.
You will need to work proactively with colleagues, Directors of Education and Student Experience, and a wider educational team to design, develop and deliver high-quality teaching and learning experiences and you will be a clear and confident communicator with the ability to engage and inspire students and colleagues across the Faculty.
