Description: The Environmental Center , with in the Division of Student Affairs, encourages applications for the Assistant Director of Energy and Climate Justice Programs . The Assistant Director position supports department operations, programming, and staff. Plan and execute programs and projects related to energy justice, climate justice, energy efficiency, renewable energy, water conservation, green building, and other campus sustainability and social justice issues. Manage student and professional employees. Strategize and improve campus sustainability efforts and related multi-cultural programs and projects. Provide professional level support to the Environmental Center director, associate director, and partner departments. Help develop and deliver signature events and staff retreats and trainings. Create and manage strategic partnerships with other departments within the division, outside the division and with government and community partners. Provide and design trainings for these partners and others. Help other departmental and campus sustainability professional staff to incorporate diversity, equity and inclusivity into their work.
