Description:
The U.S. Climate Alliance—a bipartisan coalition of governors committed to securing a net‑zero future—is hiring a Policy Advisor to advance state‑level climate policy in the electricity sector and carbon pricing. The role supports governors’ offices by providing expert policy guidance, tracking state and federal developments, managing multistate working groups, and coordinating technical assistance projects. Responsibilities include advising on electricity market reforms, carbon pricing mechanisms, grid modernization, and state‑federal engagement; producing policy briefs and analytical materials; shaping content for Alliance-wide convenings; and supporting philanthropic fundraising for climate initiatives.
