Switch it Off
Run on a timer and turn off overnight - Test to see how long it takes for the oven to get to temperature.
Minimize the amount of time the oven door is open. Have an oven map with a list of items inside.

Consider sharing or switching to a smaller oven
Ovens and incubators that don’t require humidity control use significantly less energy
Look for leaks
Regularly check for CO2 leaks in your tissue culture incubator. Put the gas regulator, tubing, and connection points underwater and see where it’s bubbling.
