Description: On the 6th of November we will host Prof Alice Vadrot from the university of Vienna at the ISTA campus to tell us about her research on environmental agree making. Alice Vadrot is a great speaker combining basic research with politics and I can only highly recommend to attend the seminar. Having studied in Vienna, and Cambridge she is currently heading the ERC project TwinPolitics unlocking the Full Potential of Digital Twins for Sustainable Ocean Futures. Using the example of preserving marine biodiversity she will explain how urgent changes are put in the policies and discuss the challenges.
