Description: Green Labs programs provide opportunities to save money, reduce energy consumption, and meet climate sustainability goals. However, the financial support of Green Labs programs does not always reflect the program’s value. With a limited budget and time constraints, lab staff who are interested in sustainability are tasked with identifying ways to incentivize participation in Green Labs, gathering metrics, and reducing the lab’s carbon footprint.
This presentation will cover ways to use existing, low-cost resources to build a community and make an impact. Topics include building relationships, creative ways to incentivize participation, and how to make a big impact with a small budget.
