**Description:** Waste management is the systematic handling of waste materials from their generation to disposal, aiming to minimize environmental impact and maximize resource recovery. Sustainable waste management practices focus on reducing, reusing, recycling, and recovering energy from waste to mitigate environmental degradation and conserve natural resources.

Overall, integrating best practices into waste management systems can help minimize environmental pollution, conserve natural resources, reduce greenhouse gas emissions, and promote a circular economy where materials are reused, recycled, and recovered to create a more sustainable future
