**Description:**
In discovery science, laboratory operations require new skills and tools for a successful operation. Safety is paramount and is always a priority over cost savings. With sustainable materials and practices with “greener chemistry methods,” it is possible to reduce the cost, minimize waste, and environmental impact in a laboratory. Utilizing the state-of-the art automation and digital tools can go together with these objectives that improve human intervention in the laboratory.
With AI/ML leading the chemistry, optimizing formulation and manufacturing methods or even minimizing the number of needed experiments, it is possible to further see improvements. This talk will focus on these elements for operating the laboratory of the future.
Attendees will learn about:
- Greener and safer chemistry and operation in the laboratory
- AI/ML-driven workflows for efficient experiments
- How leading energy saving with automation and sustainable materials is key
