**Description:** LEED, BREAM, DGNB, C2C, My Green Lab, LEAF, EMAS, ISO 14001? There are many ways to make laboratories more sustainable, to save resources and to certify them. Some programmes focus on the entire lab building and the whole creation process, others dive deep into the lab equipment and promote an awareness of sustainability. Together, we take a close look at the most widespread certifications and examine where and how they can best be used.
